Close a poll

Once you have the answers you need, you can close your poll so it stops taking new ones. Only the person who started the poll can close it.

  1. Find your poll in the group's Chat tab.

  2. Click Close poll under the poll.

  3. Confirm in the dialog.

What closing does​

A closed poll shows a Closed label and its results. Nobody can add a new answer or change one they already gave — including you.

Closing can't be undone. There's no reopen, so if you close a poll and still need answers, you'll need to start a new one.
