Share and edit your availability

When someone proposes a meeting in your group, share the times you're free so the group can settle on a slot. Latte pre-fills your availability from your calendars, so you usually just fine-tune it and confirm.

Before you start

You'll see the meeting proposal as a message in the group's chat, with a progress bar showing how many members have shared. The person who proposed the meeting is already sharing — everyone else opts in.

  1. In the group chat, find the meeting proposal message.

  2. Click the sync button on the proposal (its tooltip reads "Share your availabilities..."). Latte adds you as a participant and opens the Edit your availabilities dialog, already filled in from your calendars.

  3. Press, drag, and release across the calendar to toggle a time period between busy and available. Only your own availability is shown here.

  4. Click Confirm to save. Your share is added to the group's progress bar.

  5. To change your availability later, click the More... (three-dots) button on the proposal, then choose Edit Availabilities. To stop sharing entirely, choose Withdraw.

Good to know

Because your availability starts from your calendars, keeping them current pays off here. If you sync Google Calendar, those events are already factored in as busy time before you touch a thing.
