What's included in Premium

Premium turns on Latte's AI ranking and lifts the Free plan's limits. Everything else — calendar, tasks, chat, groups, courses, shared notes, focus sessions, syllabus import — is on both plans.

Limits and plans are being reworked

The figures below are the ones the app enforces today. Latte's plan model is being changed right now, so treat them as a snapshot — the app itself is always right. This page will be re-verified when the new model ships.

What Premium unlocks

  • AI-assisted task ranking — your next three are ranked on your own device for free; Premium adds an AI re-rank that also writes the reason line. Wherever the AI wrote that line it carries the AI-generated label, and it still sees no grades — see Text an AI wrote.
  • Polls with up to 8 questions — a Free poll has a single question. See Start a poll.
  • Uploads up to 100 MB — the per-file limit is 25 MB on Free. See Share files and photos in chat.
  • Premium support.
About "AI usage"

Latte caps how much AI work one account can trigger in a day, to keep costs sane. It is a safety net, not something you are meant to manage or buy more of, and the free ranking keeps working when a cap is reached. The exact wording on the plan card is changing as the plan model is reworked.

What a Premium gate looks like

When you reach a feature that needs Premium, Latte doesn't hide it — it shows a card: This is a Premium feature — "Upgrade to use multi-question polls and the rest of Premium." — with a See Premium plans button.

  1. Add a second question while building a poll: the card appears in place of the question stepper.

  2. Click See Premium plans and finish checkout — see Upgrade to Premium.

Try it free first

The demo includes a Premium persona, so you can see these features working without paying — see Try the demo. And if your school buys a license, Premium is free for you — see Get Latte free through your school.
