Chat with Garçon, the Study Assistant

Garçon is your Study Assistant — grounded in your groups, calendar, notes, and progress. Ask it to plan a session, summarize a topic, or find where something was discussed, and it answers from your own Latte data, citing the items it used.

  1. Open Chats and click Garçon. The screen is titled Study Assistant.

  2. Type your question in the field at the bottom (Ask a follow-up, plan a session, or explore a topic…) and press Enter (or click the Send icon).

  3. Garçon works through its steps — you'll see it move from Thinking… to Searching your study data… to Reading related items… and finally Answering… as the reply streams in. The Sources it used appear as chips you can open.

Good to know

Garçon only sees the study data you already have access to — your groups, your calendar, your notes. The more of Latte you use, the better grounded its answers are. If it's busy or hits its usage limit, it says so and you can try again in a moment.
