Nudge a friend
A Nudge is a gentle accountability check-in — a quick, friendly reminder from someone you trust. It's a low-stakes tap: no message to write, just a nudge that lets a friend know you're thinking of them.
Nudges go to people you're already friends with — see Add friends.

Latte confirms with Nudge sent. Your friend gets the check-in as a push notification on their phone.
The desktop app behaves the same way.
-
Open the Profile tab and tap Friends.
-
Tap the more-actions icon (â‹®) on the friend's row, then tap Nudge.

What your friend sees
The nudge arrives as a push notification on their phone — "👋 (your name) is checking in on you.", under A nudge from a friend. Tapping it opens their Today tab.
Nudges are shown on mobile only: a friend who uses Latte only on the web or desktop app won't see one. Anyone can mute them under Peer nudges in Notification preferences.
A nudge is a nudge, not a nag — there's no confirmation step because it's meant to be light. Use it to check in on a study buddy before a deadline.
